Screw Conveyors
Overview

Screw conveyors can be adapted to suit different applications such as bin discharging, mixing, conveying and metering feed etc. They are predominately designed to regulate the rate of material flow.

With two basic outer casing designs, trough or tubular, and numerous screw forms, nearly all products ranging from very dense, sticky or viscous to light and fluid materials.

The helix of the screw can be either left or right hand allowing for bi-directional feeding from point to point. This is very useful when discharging from bins.

Screw conveyors can convey material from the horizontal plan through to vertical over distances up to 30m making them ideal for delivering a metered amount of product within all of the process system.

Large screw diameters up to 750mm can transfer up to 830m3/hr of a material with a 45% conveyor loading.
