Overview


RIBBON BLENDERS

Ribbon Blenders are the most commonly used blenders. The products to be mixed constantly circulate from end to end, making the Ribbon Blender particularly good for blending minor additives in a mix. The agitator consists of an outer ribbon that moves the product from each end while the inner ribbon moves the product to each end. The agitator design lends itself to mixing low-density free flowing products with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy. Fresco Ribbon Blenders are available in single, double or triple ribbons with either end or central discharge. The close tolerance of the ribbon to the body ensures nearly 100% product discharge.


PADDLE BLENDERS

Paddle Blenders are the most versatile blender. The blades scoop, lift and tumble materials in a gentle, thorough mixing action. The agitator consists of an equal number of over lapping paddles which work effectively even when filled to as little as 20% rated capacity. Paddle Blenders are excellent at blending small quantities of critical ingredients as well as fragile products such as crystals, nuts, teas etc without degradation or damage. Products with dissimilar particle sizes and bulk densities are mixed thoroughly and efficiently. The Fresco Paddle Blender can also be used for powdered products ranging from very light and fluffy to very heavy and dense, mixing faster and with less consumed power. The close tolerance of the paddles to the body ensures nearly 100% product discharge.
